Welcome to Tasteful Girls—a brand born from the love of music, fashion, and the magic of self-expression. Founded in 2016 by a girl who discovered the world of music festivals and raving, Tasteful Girls is all about embracing who you are and celebrating it unapologetically.

It all started when I attended my first rave. Growing up obsessed with fashion, beauty, and music, stepping into the rave scene felt like finally finding a place where I belonged. The music moved me in ways I had never experienced, and the people were just as inspiring. But what stood out the most was the excitement of dressing up. For me and my girls, planning our outfits was one of the best parts of every show—a beautiful form of self-expression.

Back in 2016, rhinestone bras and fluffy boots were still the go-to, but I saw an opportunity to bring more fashion-forward and tasteful pieces to the festival scene. That’s when the idea for Tasteful Girls sparked. And then it hit me: my mom!

Growing up, I spent countless hours in my mom’s sewing room, watching her hand-make everything from my Halloween costumes to daring dresses I wore to school. She was the ultimate creator, and I knew she could help bring my vision to life.

I pitched the idea to her: a festival clothing brand with unique, handmade designs. While I wasn’t a seamstress myself, I had the creative vision, and I knew she had the skills to make it happen. Thankfully, she said yes! And so, Tasteful Girls was born—a true mom-and-daughter duo.

At the time, I was just 18 and feeling lost in the world. I’d worked countless jobs that left me unfulfilled, and my mom and I both juggled full-time jobs while working on Tasteful Girls. In the early years, we got a few orders here and there, and some of our designs went viral on Pinterest, helping us break into the festival fashion scene.

I’ll never forget the first time someone tagged us wearing one of our handmade bodysuits. Seeing our design come to life on someone else was pure magic. To this day, it still brings me tears of joy and gratitude.

Eventually, we decided to go all in. We left our full-time jobs to pursue Tasteful Girls, and my mom has been sewing for the brand ever since. It hasn’t always been easy—we’ve made mistakes, learned, and adapted along the way. But our passion and the incredible community we’ve built keep us moving forward.

Tasteful Girls is more than a clothing brand—it’s a community. Our mission is to help you embody your highest self, whether you’re dancing at the festival or chasing your biggest dreams. Every piece we create is handmade in small batches, ensuring quality, uniqueness, and sustainability. We’re proud to be a women-founded, mom-and-daughter team creating designs that inspire confidence and individuality.

As we grow, we’re excited to expand beyond festival and rave wear while staying true to our roots: small-batch, high-quality, and never mass-produced. Our goal is to provide clothing that empowers you to feel unstoppable and reminds you that no dream is too big to chase.
